Black Girls Hike takes over the Capital Ring! Join us at the start of section 6 of the trail, a Moderate level point-to-point (linear) route taking us through Wimbledon park, Wimbkedon Common and Richmond park (London’s largest Royal Park) where we may spot some wild deer, before finishing along the River Thames where the nearest station is Richmond (Overground, District and rail).
Length: 4 hours including breaks.
Terrain: mainly along rough paths and muddy grass with some pavement walking and footbridges, expect some steep ups and downs so please wear boots with good ankle support that you wouldn't mind getting dirty. Please wrap up warm, bring snacks and water. There will be refreshments and toilet breaks available on this walk. At the end of the walk we have the option of gathering for lunch with many café options along Hill Street.

CAN I COME TO BLACK GIRLS HIKE?
As the name suggests, this is a safe space for Black/Mixed Race cis and trans women and non-binary people of Black African and / or Caribbean descent who are comfortable in a space that centres the experiences of Black women. We are not a BAME, POC, BIPOC, WOC, Politically Black or Ally organisation.
