Join BGH on this stunning circular walk in the North Downs, starting and ending in the beautiful village of Wye - situated in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The route follows a stretch of the North Downs Way (with amazing views) and passes the famous hillside chalk crown. The route has several climbs and descents, including one steep climb up to the top of the downs. The paths are mostly unmade and, while mostly firm, there are very muddy stretches. One section crosses the nature reserve and there are free roaming cattle and sheep, so this walk is not one for those who are not keen on animals! Please wear walking boots- trainers are not suitable for this hike. Please also bring water and snacks. There are shops, pubs and other facilities in the village at the end of the walk.
