On this adventure we will camp in the Kruger National Park, go walking with wildlife, meet a All Woman Anti-poaching unit, see African Penguins and climb Table Mountain!   • Meet Rhiane at KMI Airport in Nelspruit. We aim to depart at 12 pm straight to The Kruger National Park so if you are unable to arrive before this time we recommend you fly in a day earlier and overnight at an airport hotel in either Johannesburg or Mbombela.

    The Kruger National Park is home to Africa’s iconic Big 5; Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Rhino and Leopard. The park covers an area of 2 million hectares of African wilderness and has a greater variety of wildlife than any other African national park, earning it the classification as one of the world’s super-parks. Starting our safari as soon as we enter the park gates, enjoying a 2 hour game drive in an open game drive vehicles.

    On arrival into camp we settle in and relax around the campfire under the African night sky. The camp is fully fenced and it is safe to walk around and explore the different viewpoints and attractions. 

    Tonight we will get to fall asleep under the stars to the sounds of roaring lions, snorting hippos and the soft croaking of frogs in the river.

  • This safari is all about wildlife and outdoor adventure, so we'll experience a guided adventure in open safari vehicles, where we will get up close and personal with the park's residents. Our professional and passionate Kruger guides will explain and interpret what is going on in the natural environment around us.

    Our morning will start with tea, coffee and rusks in camp, before heading out on an early morning safari. Lunch at a remote picnic spot and dinner back in camp.

    Avid bush enthusiasts love the Kruger in Spring as the thinner bush makes it easier for game spotting. Animals also tend to spend more time around watering holes giving us the chance for some incredible sightings and photographic opportunities.

    The park has approximately 147 species of mammals, 500 species of birds, 114 species of reptiles, so there are plenty of opportunities to experience wildlife in their natural habitat.

  • The camp is located within the public Lower Sabie Rest Camp in the game rich south eastern region of Kruger. This is the best area of the park for spotting the Big 5. 

    The campsite itself is on a small exclusively allocated space just off the Lower Sabie public camping area. Guests are accommodated in comfortable dome, canvas safari tents which take 2 people each. Canvas camp chairs are provided around a central camp fire. Paraffin lamps and other ambient lighting create a cosy night time atmosphere. Dinners are served around the campfire. 

    Clean flush toilets and hot showers are a short walk away and are a shared facility. 

    The camp has a a café/bar with a large wooden deck which overlooks the beautiful Sabie River, perfect for sundowners. There is a well stocked shop in the camp. An electrified perimeter fence keeps wildlife out of the camp day and night. 

    Breakfast is served in the Casa Grande with check-out at 10:00.

    Embark your ready-waiting motorized wooden boat for the 25-minute return trip along the snaking Madre de Dios River.

  • After catching our final sunrise in the Kruger National Park its time head over to Hoedspruit our new home for the next 3 nights.

    During our stay in Hoedspruit we will explore the Wilderness on foot, meet a All Woman Anti-Poaching Unit and enjoy sunset game drives on a private game reserve.

    The afternoon is free for you to enjoy, relax and unwind.

  • It is a wonderful experience to explore the wilderness on foot. Today we will head over to Pridelands, home to the Big 5, cheetah and wild dogs part of the Greater Kruger National Park.

    The landscape is made up of tall knobthorn woodlands, bushwillows and open areas punctuated with waterholes where herds of elephant drink and swim.

    We will take our body, mind and soul on a sensory adventure into the wild ancient landscape. Revisit our natural companions on natural terms. Our professional trails guides will lead us safely as we track and encounter wild animals, view wonderful birds and immerse ourselves in nature.

    Walks will be focused on the interests of our group while investigating detailed relationships found in nature. 

    While we may encounter big game, safety and enjoyment is always our focus.

  • The Black Mambas are a remarkable group of women who, unarmed, are fighting the evils of poaching and protecting their wildlife heritage. 

    After breakfast we will head to Bulule Game Reserve to meet The Black Mambas. 

    We will spend the morning in their Operations Camp learning all about how this unit came to be, what their mission is, the work they do on a daily basis and what their goals are in conservation. 

    We will discuss the importance of conservation and how The Black Mambas contribute to this initiative. We will look at their training regime that enables them to fight poaching as successfully as they do.

  • Leopard's Lair Bush Lodge is the perfect destination for in Hoedspruit where you can unwind and relax in the tranquillity of nature. 

    This hidden gem is ideally situated along the Mohlabetsi River in the exclusive area of the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate.

  • Today we will fly from Hoedspruit to Cape Town International Airport. On arrival we will take a private 45 minute transfer to The Team House situated in the Noordhoek Village. 

    The Noordhoek valley remains one of the Cape Town’s treasured destinations. 

    Situated at the foot of Chapman’s Peak and surrounded by Table Mountain National Park, it has a delightful village atmosphere with awesome mountain and sea views. This will be our home for the next 4 nights.

    The afternoon will be spent settling in at Noordhoek, our home for the next 3 nights.

    We will spend time on Chapmans Peak catching some sunset shots before a welcome dinner to Cape Town.

  • After breakfast we will head out and explore the spectacular Cape Peninsula. The South Peninsula is home to one of the world’s most spectacular passes, Chapman’s Peak Drive, seaside villages, African Penguins and Cape Point.

    We will spend time at Boulders Beach in Simon’s Town home to the African Penguin. Pristine white sands and calm turquoise waters hemmed in by gigantic granite boulders. Boulders Beach is one of the Cape Peninsula’s most magnificent beaches and is protected as part of the Table Mountain National Park. 

    We will spend the morning on the beach, boardwalk and boulders capturing African Penguins.

    We will continue our journey and explore the rugged coastline of the Cape Peninsula. We will stop at the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. The nature reserve boasts a scenic terrain that is home to zebras, baboons, elands, ostriches, along with over 250 different species of birds.

  • Up early to climb the most iconic landmark of South Africa, Table Mountain.

    Towering tall at over a thousand metres over Cape Town, Table Mountain is a playground for nature lovers and adventure seekers. On reaching the top of the mountain, we will take in the amazing panoramic views across this fantastic city and beyond. We'll spend time exploring the mountain top and enjoy a light snack with refreshments, before we catch the cable car back down.

    There are about 2,200 species of plants found on Table Mountain and 1470 floral species. Many of these plants and flowers are endemic to this mountain. The Cape Floral region of the national park is one of the richest floral regions in the world. Over 70% of the flowers are endemic to the Table Mountain. It is no wonder that the mountain was chosen as one of the new seven world wonders.

    The afternoon is free for you to enjoy. Tanning, swimming in the sea, horse riding on the beach, wine tasting at Cape Point Vineyards - the choice is yours!

  • After breakfast, we will venture over to Bo Kaap on a private walking tour. 

    On our meander we will see the colourful houses, smell the spices of the East and hear the mosques calling for prayer.

    After Bo Kaap we will head to the V & A Waterfront. 

    The afternoon is free for you to explore Robben Island, go on a boat cruise, visit the apartheid museum or shop - the choice is yours!

    In the early evening venture back to Noordhoek for our farewell dinner.

  • After a hearty breakfast, we'll bid farewell to the breathtaking landscapes of Noordhoek that have become our temporary home.

    Our team will transport you comfortably to Cape Town International Airport where home or your next destination awaits. 

    Ensure your flights are scheduled for midday or later, allowing you ample time to relish the final moments of this unforgettable wildlife experience.

  • The settings and views are magnificent, with vistas of the beautiful white sands of the famous Long Beach, Noordhoek right across to the lighthouse at Kommetjie.

    Noordhoek is one of the Cape’s treasures.With its tranquil village atmosphere, its famous beach, vast wetlands awesome mountain and sea views. Its a highly sought after area.
